One of the most common pregnancy symptoms is fatigue, that constant feeling of pure exhaustion. This pregnancy symptom is so common that most women will experience it before they even know they are pregnant!
Fatigue is at its worst during your first and third trimesters and tends to ease during the second trimester of your pregnancy. Fatigue is caused by a variety of factors including, but not limited to: your body being hard at work growing a baby, trouble sleeping, your constantly raging pregnancy hormones and morning sickness.
It’s pretty hard to completely avoid fatigue, but the good news is there are ways to get some relief when fatigue sets in. Remember, if your fatigue is accompanied by dizziness or faintness you should contact your healthcare provider immediately.
